Abstract This paper introduces the principles and observing methods of PM10 mass concentration observation instruments based on β ray and taper element oscillating microbalance two methods.According to comparative analysis on the data in 2016 Beijing,the differences of PM10 mass concentration observed by the two methods is related to the air humidity and ground surface wind speed.The observation results differences can be made by using different observing principles and heating manners.
