Abstract In order to solve the real time fault alarm problem of the uninterruptible power system (UPS),the software about UPS fault automatic alarm was developed.Based on HTTP protocol,the software gets UPS status information from the SNMP card.The status information was real time analyzed and judged.Once the fault was found,then the alarm information will be sent to the watching keepers in the form of short message and sound.
