Evaluation and analysis for detection environment of new generation weather radar in Inner Mongolia |

Abstract By acquiring high-precision DEM elevation data,SRTM data and occlusion data of tall buildings around radar,the single-station occlusion angle maps of weather radar and the new generation weather radar network in Inner Mongolia are drawn respectively,and the detection environment of the new generation weather radar in Inner Mongolia is evaluated and analyzed.Through the assessment and analysis,the compensation mechanism can be put forward for the areas with insufficient radar coverage,and the basis can be provided for the correction of the deviation of weather radar data in the process of multi-source data fusion.
