Abstract This paper introduces the observation of soil moisture in automatic processing platform,which is based on multi-thread concurrent processing technology,TCP and FTP network communication protocol.Through building modules such as TCP data receiving,extracting and calculating data from previous detections,and forming and uploading messages,the platform is able to actualize the centralized data processing system for the entire network observation data of soil moisture in Guangdong,effectively improving the efficiency of agricultural and meteorological observation services.The practical application results show that the software is stable and reliable,which can meet the requirements of meteorological services.
