Abstract  Through the comparison and analysis of the meteorological observation data before and after the relocation of Ninghe national meteorological observation station from January to December in 2017,by using the calculation methods of difference standard deviation, relative difference and significance test, the conclusion is drawn that there is little difference in temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, wind direction and wind speed between the old and new sites. The new site has low temperature, high precipitation, high wind speed and high consistency of timing wind direction. The new site has advantages over the old site due to its superior detection environment and the absence of obstacles such as high-rise buildings. The observational data of the new site are complete, with good continuity, regional consistency and homogeneity, and the observational data are available.
