Abstract This paper introduces the signal flow direction,working principle and the specific timing relationship of the weather radar timer in detail.The timer is modeled and simulated based on the System Vue software simulation platform,and then packaged into timer components for storage and testing.The simulation test results show that the timing of the simulation timer component conforms to the expected timing of the timer,completing the main timing control functions such as transmitter charging and discharging control,wide and narrow pulse control,receiver protector command control in the continuous mode and batch mode of the weather radar.This component has the advantages of easy modification and testing,which has been applied to the simulation design of CINRAD/SA weather radar system.
