Analysis of weather types and echo characteristics of torrential rain in northeast Jiangxi |

Abstract In view of the characteristics of frequent,sudden,severe and changeable flood causing rainstorms in northeast Jiangxi in flood season,the weather classification and radar mosaic echo characteristics of flood causing rainstorms in northeast Jiangxi from 2008 to 2018 are analyzed by means of mathematical statistics,synoptic analysis and image recognition from the aspects of precipitation characteristics,weather situation classification,physical quantity diagnosis,radar echo shape and rain intensity index selection.According to the analysis results,the torrential rainstorm process in northeast Jiangxi can be effectively monitored,so as to release flood warning information in advance.
