Comparative analysis of surface rainfall and radar echo intensity in Yuanhe River Basin |

Abstract In order to analyze the relationship between the surface rainfall and the radar echo intensity,this paper uses the radar echo data of Jiangxi WebGIS radar mosaic platform and surface rainfall data of Jiangxi automatic weather station real-time data service platform.Using Pearson correlation coefficient and paired-samples test analysis statistical method,the correlation between rainfall and CR echo of 14 heavy rainstorm processes in Yuanhe River Basin during flood season in Jiangxi province from March to July,2013 to 2020 was analyzed.At the same time,a case study is conducted on the heavy rain process at seven national stations in the Yuanhe River Basin.The analysis results provide a reference for carrying out refined meteorological services and formulating emergency plans for disaster prevention and mitigation.
