Abstract In order to better monitor and warn Tonggu heavy rain weather and understand the radar echo characteristics of short-term heavy precipitation in heavy rain,the radar echo characteristics of Tonggu heavy rain weather on August 25,2021 are analyzed by using the principles of meteorology and radar meteorology.The data sources,weather conditions,lightning distribution and weather background are introduced in detail.The echo characteristics of convergence line and short-term heavy rainfall are analyzed in detail,and the conclusion is drawn in order to provide identification and analysis basis for short-term and imminent forecast of heavy rainfall in Tonggu.
