Classification and characteristic analysis of radar echo of Fuliang thunderstorm and gale

Abstract  Based on the data of thunderstorm gale from the national weather station in Fuliang county of Jiangxi province and the data of Jiangxi WebGIS radar mosaic CR product,this paper analyzes the radar echo characteristics of 12 thunderstorm gale processes in Fuliang county.Firstly,detailed statistics and classification of thunderstorm gale and echo system are carried out.Then,the typical radar echo characteristics of the northeast-southwest echo band,short band (monomer) echo band,south-north echo band and other echo bands are analyzed.The conclusions provide an analysis basis for the short-term warning of thunderstorm gale.
