Abstract The GTS11,GTS12 and GTS13 three new digital electronic radiosondes have a serious impact on the quality of station data and the availability of sounding data during the detection process.Based on the observation data of 14 sounding stations in Xinjiang in 2020,this paper classifies and summarizes the frequent failures of GTS11,GTS12 and GTS13 in the detection process,such as sudden loss of radiosonde,sensor degeneration and garbled code.According to the type of instrument,fault phenomenon,combined with the actual work,the specific solution is put forward.The practice has proved that the effect is remarkable,not only the detection quality of the station has been significantly improved,but also the availability of radiosonde data has been guaranteed.
