Exploration of site selection method for Wuyuan Xband dual polarization radar based on multi objective programming |

Abstract The article using the weather radar occlusion angle map and equal beam height map,the occlusion situation and detection capability of the X-band radar in Wuyuan County were analyzed.Based on multi-objective planning,three points were preliminarily selected as candidate installation locations for Wuyuan radar.By using optical theodolites,GPS positioning devices,and rangefinders to test the occlusion angle and distance of tall buildings around Wuyuan County Meteorological Bureau,the occlusion situation and detection capability of the three proposed weather radar sites in Wuyuan County were quantitatively compared and qualitatively studied.Finally,the optimal installation location and tower base height of the radar were determined to provide reference for weather radar site selection.
