Analysis of spatiotemporal variation characteristics of sunshine in Hotan area from 1966 to 2023 |

Abstract Using the sunshine observation data from seven national automatic observation stations with long sequence data in Hotan area from 1966 to 2023,analyze the inter generational,seasonal,and monthly variations,trends,and characteristics of sunshine hours in Hotan area.The results show that from 1966 to 2023,the average annual sunshine hours in Hotan area showed a slow upward trend.During the four seasons,summer has the highest sunshine hours and winter has the lowest.The sunshine hours in spring and winter show an upward trend.From a time series perspective,October has the highest sunshine hours and February has the lowest.From a spatial distribution perspective,the maximum sunshine hours are in Minfeng and the minimum in Hotan City.
