Abstract Lightning monitoring system can real-time monitor lighting area and give lighting location information.This paper introduces current situation of lightning monitoring system in China and abroad,and mainly describes and analyzes lightning locating technology.Then,the dynamic test method for detection performance of lightning monitoring system is discussed.
