Abstract In the western and South China Sea area,there is monitoring blank area in our reference climate station network.In 2012,the China meteorological administration carried out the adjustment of the reference climate station network.The plan is to adopt fully automatic high performance equipment in the western and the South China Sea,and building an unmanned reference climate station.The existing unmanned automatic weather station is still using conventional meteorological observation instruments and equipment.The stability and operation of instrument equipment cannot meet the goal of continuous running in the uninhabited area.In order to achieve a long-term,stable and accurate access to climate observations,following the design idea of automation,intensive and standardization for the observation system,a unmanned automatic climate station,which are flexible interchangeable,easy to maintain,easy to expand,safe,stable and reliable are designed with integrate processor as the core.
