Abstract In order to improve data transmission stability and efficiency,more and more communication modes of regional automatic weather stations have installed Beidou satellite transmission on the basis of GPRS.This paper analyzes and investigates the typical faults of these two communication modes,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions,so as to provide references for the vast number of meteorological technicians in daily maintenance.
