Abstract The new generation CINRAD/SA weather radar product map has been verified by practice,which has certain inadequacies and limitations.It is mainly reflected in the boundary distinction between the map areas that is not obvious,including three aspects of distance circle,ocean and land,inside province and outside province.This paper uses image decomposition synthesis method to upgrade the radar product map,which improves the usability of the generation weather radar product and reduces the difficulty for meteorologists to view the product map.
