Abstract In order to make the rapid calculation of the catastrophe index insurance and the smooth development of the claims business in Zhaoqing,a Web-based catastrophe index insurance computing platform is developed by using ASP.NET technology.This platform integrates multiple functions such as insurance claims calculation,display,pigeonhole,inquire and download etc,which would effectively improve the efficiency of insurance calculation and payment,and promote the efficiency of the government's disaster relief and overall risk resistance.
