Abstract This paper introduces the structure,composition and circuit principle of RF numerical control attenuator in detail.The specific fault diagnosis and maintenance methods of RF numerical control attenuator are also introduced through an example of troubleshooting.A failure diagnosis method based on data analysis is put forward particularly.Maintenance examples show that the failure repair work will get twice the result with half the effort by combining the data analysis and hardware test.
