Abstract  In order to improve the short-term and impending forecasting and early warning ability of thunderstorms and gale weather in Wuyuan region, this paper classifies and analyzes the meteorological elements and radar echoes of single thunderstorm and gale weather station in Wuyuan by using the data of Wuyuan national general weather station and Jiangxi WebGIS radar mosaic and adopting data statistics, images contrast and other analysis methods.According to the examples, the concrete characteristics of 6 echo types of thunderstorm gale are analyzed, and the intensity of these echo types is statistically analyzed. These research results provide an analytical basis for short-term and impending forecasting and early warning and meteorological service of thunderstorm and gale weather in Wuyuan.
