Abstract This paper introduces the actual weather conditions of Fengcheng and Xin'gan district on July 27,2020.By using the data of weather situation,ground observation,satellite cloud image and Jiangxi WebGIS radar mosaic,the characteristics of weather chart,satellite cloud image,thunderstorm echo evolution,storm tracking information STI and single radar products of short time heavy precipitation weather process are analyzed by means of statistical,synoptic and image analysis methods.The conclusions provide a reference basis for forecasting the heavy precipitation at the edge of the subtropical high in Jiangxi.
