Abstract:Based on the wind profile radar located at Harbin Taiping International Airport,this paper uses the horizontal wind vector,vertical velocity,signal-to-noise ratio and atmospheric refractive index structure constant products of wind profiler radar to detect the typhoon precipitation process in Harbin from September 3,2020 to September 4,2020.The results show that the horizontal wind vector product of wind profile radar can clearly display the internal structure of typhoon,which confirms that there will be gale weather from low altitude to high altitude under the influence of typhoon,and the wind speed will decrease during the influence of typhoon eye.For Harbin area,the vertical velocity can reflect the beginning of precipitation when it is close to 4m·s-1,and the change of precipitation intensity is consistent with the change of vertical velocity.The variation trend of the signal-to-noise ratio is basically the same as that of the vertical velocity.Both of them can be used to analyze the start-stop time and intensity change trend of typhoon precipitation.The time when the atmospheric refractive index structure constant is less than-120 dB in the middle and upper layers is consistent with the start time of precipitation,which can not only reflect the evolution characteristics of typhoon precipitation,but also reflect the change of high-altitude humidity.
