Abstract:The article investigates the standard uncertainty of the WindobServer (1390-75-b-313) ultrasonic anemometer by measuring the standard wind speed using a pitot static pressure tube calibration device in a 70 m/s straight open wind tunnel for meteorology, and analyzes the results.A measurement model for analyzing the standard uncertainty of wind speed using an ultrasonic anemometer for meteorology was established, and the calibration indicators of the wind speed calibration device were introduced.Identified the sources of standard uncertainty in conducting standard uncertainty analysis. The standard uncertainty analysis was conducted on the repeatability measurement and standard wind speed values of the ultrasonic anemometer, and the composite standard uncertainty and extended standard uncertainty analysis results of the ultrasonic anemometer were obtained. The results indicate that the method of calibrating the wind speed of an ultrasonic anemometer in a meteorological straight open wind tunnel is feasible. The research results ensure the accuracy and reliability of the ultrasonic anemometer during operation, and also contribute to providing real reference for grassroots stations.
