Abstract:In order to explore the causes and mechanisms of low-temperature rain and snow weather,based on MICAPS sounding data and ground observation data,the circulation background,influencing system,and atmospheric structure characteristics of low-temperature rain and snow weather in Bijie City from January 7 to November 2025 were analyzed.The results show that the deep trough in the east is obvious at 500 hPa,and the development of the short wave trough in the west is strengthened.The 700 hPa low-level jet stream is obvious,and there is sufficient water vapor transport from South China to Jiangnan region.The 850 hPa warm and humid airflow is active,and Bijie is located in the front of the high-altitude trough.Water vapor transport,airflow convergence,and atmospheric stratification conditions play important roles in the process of snowfall.The research results provide reference for improving the accuracy of forecasting ground temperature rain and snow weather.
