Abstract:Using data products such as the "Tianyan" radar puzzle and lightning distribution,the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of lightning activity caused by super cells in Jiangxi were analyzed.The results showed that:(1)hail events in super cells in Jiangxi mostly occur in spring (March May),and there were three largescale hail weather processes in March 2025.The generation of echoes from these super cells is closely related to terrain uplift and the transport of warm and humid air currents;(2)Lightning activity exhibits highfrequency and highintensity characteristics in the development of supercells,concentrated in the stages of storm development,maturity,and weakening;(3)Hail is a product of supercell storms and has a significant correlation with the spatial distribution of lightning.Strong lightning areas are often accompanied by hail with larger diameters (≥2 cm);Weak lightning areas are accompanied by micro supercells and hail with smaller diameters (≤2 cm).The research results provide scientific basis for early spring hail weather warning and disaster prevention and reduction in Jiangxi.
