Abstract：Shiyan CINRAD/SB radar has been in operating service since 2007.Many faults occurred in the long period of operating running.The fault of collector ring has the highest frequency, which has been replaced four times by using two different collector rings.This paper mainly discusses the principle of different kinds of collector rings, and its basic structures, performance and maintenance methods.It can improve the maintainer’s ability to judge and repair collector ring faults in a rapid way.
