Abstract:Based on the daily precipitation and sunshine duration data from 1960 to 2015 in Maanshan station,the continuous rainy time variation characteristics were analyzed.Combined with continuous rain process from 11th to 26th November,2015,the effects on power supply of regional station in Maanshan area were evaluated.The research showed that there were 4 times rainy days per a year with annual maximum 9 times and longest rainy weather for 21 days.It happened once in a year for rainy weather more than 10 days and met super long rainy weather more than 14 days per 4.6 years.The continuous rainy weather has an obvious effect on four-element station.About 70% of multi elements stations that the power supply battery capacity less than 60Ah cannot operate under rainy days.In the day time of overcast,solar panels can still charging the battery,but the charging efficiency is greatly reduced.With continuous rainy days,the battery voltage with low capacity shows a linear decreasing trend.It is recommended to select high capacity battery when upgrading weather station.
