Abstract：This paper analyzes shipping control cases in Qingdao port channel from 2010 to 2015, combined with Qingdao offshore meteorological observation data,the meteorological conditions such as visibility and wind etc are analyzed.The meteorological factors that influence the transportation of navigation areas are found out.According to the maritime traffic safety management specification promulgated by maritime department,meteorological risk grade index of Qingdao offshore navigation areas is established.By means of daily weather forecast of Qingdao offshore,the service product of the transportation of navigation areas shall be published on the Ocean Meteorology Service Platform,which could provide a technical support for the meteorological security service for navigation areas.
