Abstract With great variety and large quantity of meteorological data,the procedures for data transmission,processing and filing is very complex.On the basis of the analysis of provincial meteorological data archive business process,a provincial archive management system is designed and developed.The function modules are organized in accordance with the business process,covering the data collection,archiving approval,data retrieval and other aspects,which achieves the flow management and automatic process of meteorological data archive.
