Abstract：Laboratory proficiency testing is the inter-comparison activities used between laboratories in order to determine calibration and measurement capability. According to the experiment results of comparison on the Northwest Area Meteorological Metrological Institutes, this paper analyzes the reason of the problems in the comparison, sums up experiences and shares the experience and significance of inter-laboratory comparison and proficiency testing. The proficiency testing of the meteorological metrological laboratory will improve the level of staff capacity and laboratory quality management, and then the meteorological metrological verification will carry out better.
