Abstract:Using longitude-latitude grid data of weather radar echo mosaic and precipitation data of automatic meteorology stations,the segmentation calculation and mean value wave filtering algorithms are introduced to control the quality of suspicious data of heavy rainfall(≥20mm/h) that automatic meteorology stations record.The results show that it is very effective that heavy rainfall data of automatic stations is confirmed by longitude-latitude grid data(1100×1100km)of radar echo mosaic. The maximum refresh time of rainfall products can be raised by segmentation calculation on one hour precipitation. The granular echo interference can be reduced or eliminated by mean value wave filtering algorithms based on radar echo grid data.The method has good effect on eliminating suspicious precipitation of automatic stations by testing cases.
