Abstract：By using conventional ground observation data,ECMWF ERA5 reanalysis data,3D lightning location data and radar data,a severe convective weather occurred on July 5,2021 in Ulanqab city was analyzed and studied in detail.The article mainly analyzes the evolution characteristics of high and low altitude circulation patterns,ground situation fields,and physical quantity fields as well as the radar echo characteristics and lightning characteristics during the occurrence of severe convective weather,providing a favorable basis for predicting local severe convective weather in the future.
