Abstract:In order to do a good job in the early warning and forecasting of short-term heavy rainfall,this paper uses MICAPS weather data,Jiangxi WebGIS radar mosaic,automatic weather station and other data,and uses mesoscale weather analysis method and radar meteorology principle to analyze the short-term heavy rainfall process in Yingtan on July 25,2023.The results show that the“7.25”Yingtan short-time heavy rainfall is caused by the interaction of 500 hPa upper trough,700 hPa shear line and ground easterly airflow.The strong convective echo was generated in the Xinjiang River Valley.Under the action of the southeasterly airflow on the ground,the echo was stable and less moving,resulting in short-term heavy rainfall in the Yingtan urban area.The precipitation process suggests that early warning and forecasting work should be alert to the sudden development,stable and less moving echoes.The research results provide an analytical basis for the forecast of short-term heavy rainfall weather.
