Abstract:The article uses meteorological temperature data from 2017 to 2022 in Nanjing to study and analyze the urban heat island effect in recent years by selecting three automatic meteorological stations in the urban area and six automatic meteorological stations in the suburbs.The results indicate that the urban heat island effect in Nanjing has significant seasonal and daily variations,with a trend of first weakening and then strengthening over the past six years.The overall heat island intensity is 0.98 ℃,significantly higher in summer than in winter.The heat island intensity is highest in summer at 1.06 ℃ and lowest in winter at 0.86 ℃.During daily changes,the strongest heat island intensity is at 1.55 ℃ at 20:00,1.52 ℃ at 02:00,and 0.18 ℃ at 14:00.
