Abstract:Using the snow depth observation data from three national basic meteorological stations in Weihai area from December 2020 to February 2021,this study quantitatively analyzes the errors between automatic snow depth observation and manual observation from both absolute and relative errors,with manual observation as the reference standard.The study found that the overall trend of automatic and manual observation of snow depth is consistent,with differences at different stations and time periods.The main reasons for errors between automatic observation and manual observation include meteorological factors such as wind and temperature,human factors,observation environment,and snow observation standards.The research results provide support for improving the automation level of snow depth automatic observation.
