Abstract:In order to analyze the relationship between short-time heavy rainfall,lightning distribution and thunderstorm clustering in heavy rainstorm,this paper uses rainfall data,weather situation,radar mosaic,lightning distribution and thunderstorm clustering in the "Tianyan" system to analyze short-time heavy rainfall during the heavy rainstorm on April 2,2024.The results indicate that the merging of short-term heavy precipitation centers expands the range of heavy precipitation and enhances it.Weather systems such as high-altitude trough,low-level shear line,convergence line,southwest jet stream,and southwest trough promote the occurrence of short-term heavy precipitation.The mixed echo band with an east-west direction has a convective precipitation echo short band with an approximate north-south direction of ≥ 50 dBZ on its south side.Areas with dense lightning distribution and thunderstorm clustering are closely related to short-term heavy precipitation,and the formation of thunderstorm clustering areas are very advantageous for distinguishing the movement of thunderstorms.The research results provide an analytical basis for the early warning and forecast of short-term heavy rainfall in heavy rainstorm weather.
