Abstract:In order to enhance the forecasting and early warning capabilities of mixed severe convective weather,a brief summary of the sounding and radar indicators of a mixed severe convective weather event in the Haidong area of Qinghai Province on June 30,2024 was conducted based on conventional observation data and radar data.The results indicate that strong water vapor transport and ground convergence,unstable stratification of "dry and cold above,warm and humid below",and strong vertical wind shear are favorable environmental conditions for this severe convective weather.The morphological characteristics of radar echoes,such as bow echoes,mid-level radial convergence,vertical integral liquid water content jump,train effects,etc.,have important indicative significance for analyzing and identifying the types of severe convective weather and issuing severe convective weather warnings.The location of the center of heavy precipitation is related to the center of ground convergence,the strength and long-term maintenance of the combined reflectance factor,and the continuous transmission of train effects.The research results provide reference for forecasting mixed severe convective weather.
