Abstract：This paper deals with features and advantages of the new-developed equipments used at the automatic weather station. The work is undertaken by Meteorological Observation Centre of CMA. The new-developed equipment is based on CAN, which is flexible to add new sensors. The equipment are programming to contain almost all meteorological elements and in scientific design. Improvements on sensors of temperature, humidity and precipitation make better capture of the environments. What’s more, the new-developed equipments make progress in software, hardware, thunder protecting, data processing and storage abilities.
