Performance analysis of different interpolation methods for meteorological elements in small areas

Abstract:In order to effectively display the distribution of meteorological observation elements in a small area,this paper analyzes various methods of meteorological observation elements display,and points out the characteristics of discrete display and continuous display.Under different power exponents,the temperature,humidity and air pressure of Xiyuan old canteen and its surrounding area of Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology were processed by inverse distance weighted interpolation method.At the same time,compared with the ordinary Kriging interpolation method,the results show that the inverse distance weighted interpolation method is better than the ordinary Kriging interpolation method,which is more suitable for accurately and clearly displaying the distribution of temperature,humidity and pressure meteorological elements in small areas.
