Abstract:The article utilizes data from Kunming sounding station from November 2023 to January 2024,as well as temperature and relative humidity data retrieved from the Airda-HTG4 ground-based multi-channel microwave radiometer at the same location. On the basis of quality control methods, the accuracy of temperature and humidity data for effective samples in the vertical direction at 08:00 and 20:00 was evaluated by adding spatial and temporal matching methods. The results showed that the overall temperature observation performance of the device was excellent, with an average system deviation of 0.67 ℃ for the entire layer,a root mean square error (RMS) of ≤3 ℃,and a correlation coefficient of 0.98.The average deviation of relative humidity is 0.11%,RMS≤20%. The correlation coefficient is 0.86,and the temperature detection accuracy is significantly better than that of humidity.Monthly observations show that the temperature RMS remains stable at 2.30~2.50 ℃,and the humidity RMS is 14%~17%,confirming the reliability of the equipment data. After quality control, the temperature error in the 5 000-10 000 m altitude layer (temperature<0 ℃) was significantly reduced, and the consistency with sounding data was enhanced. The original humidity data of this altitude layer has a significant negative deviation, and after quality control, the RMS has decreased to within 20%.Research has confirmed that the Airda-HTG4 device has outstanding temperature detection performance.
