Abstract:The ground-based remote sensing vertical observation system will construct multiple active and passive ground-based remote sensing detection devices on the same site, and use multi-device collaboration to achieve continuous observation of five atmospheric vertical profiles:temperature, humidity, wind, water condensation, and aerosols.Using the Yichang ground-based remote sensing vertical observation system and Yichang sounding radar data,a study was conducted on the comparison and error analysis of meteorological element data such as temperature, humidity, and wind field at multiple altitude levels ranging from 0 km to 10 km above the ground.Research has shown that vertical observation systems can significantly increase the time density of vertical observations and enhance the application capability of numerical forecasting in vertical observation data regions.Comparative analysis of the observation effects of vertical observation systems under different weather conditions provides a theoretical basis for equipment improvement and localized applications,as well as richer observation methods for short-term forecasting in the near future.
