Preliminary analysis of a heavy rain process on Meiyu front

Abstract:In order to improve the monitoring and early warning ability of continuous heavy rain,the weather process of continuous heavy rain on Meiyu front from July 8 to 10,2020 is preliminarily analyzed by using MICAPS weather map,cloud map,ground reality,Jiangxi WebGIS radar puzzle and FNL reanalysis.This paper introduces the weather and disaster situation in detail,and analyzes the evolution of the weather situation.The cloud image,MCS feature,echo feature and ground meso-scale convergence line are analyzed in detail.The research results provide a theoretical basis for improving the monitoring and early warning ability of heavy rain.
