Abstract:In order to ensure the best resolution and the maximum scanning range, airborne phase array radar usually scans the meteorological targets above the surface at a certain angle in the direction of vertical flight route. This mode of work is bound to be affected by the interference of land and sea surface and other targets, which will affect the detection and recognition of meteorological targets. This paper discusses the mechanism and principle of airborne phase array radar interfered by ground clutter in detail. The influence of ground clutter on airborne phase array radar is simulated and analyzed through system modeling, and some suggestions for ground clutter suppression are put forward.
