Application of ground based remote sensing observation system in the shortterm heavy precipitation process in Yan'an

Abstract:The article summarizes and organizes the data products of the groundbased vertical remote sensing observation system constructed at the same site during the three shortterm heavy rainfall processes at Yan'an station from 2023 to 2024,and analyzes the entire process of precipitation occurrence.The results indicate that the brightness temperature data of the microwave radiometer changes about 34 hours earlier than the actual precipitation.The wind profile radar feather map product can accurately reflect the wind direction and wind speed at vertical height,and there is strong wind speed and wind shear on the feather map before heavy precipitation occurs.The millimeter wave cloud radar reflectivity product matches the actual precipitation time and intensity.
