Abstract：Water level self-recording have various methods ,mainly including float type water-level recorder , pressure type water-level recorder , ultrasonic water-level recorder ,contact water gauge .So it is important to compare characteristics of each methods .This paper analysed data of water level and compared differences of service condition of each water level self-recording in Duya hydrological station, combined public data platform of hydrology information and background applied program that designed independently. The result shows that the auto water gauge is very applied .the advantage of auto water gauge is worth being exchanged with other hydrologist.
