Abstract:In order to study the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics and regularity of rainstorm days in the Qilian Mountains,this paper analyzes the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of rainstorm in the Qilian Mountains by using the daily precipitation data of rainstorm from 2003 to 2022 from the national meteorological station and the regional automatic meteorological station in the Qilian Mountains,as well as the observation data of rainstorm amount.The results show that the number of rainstorm days in the Qilian Mountains presents different trends in different years and seasons.From the perspective of spatial distribution,the eastern and southern regions have more rainstorm days,while the western and northern regions have less rainstorm days.Climatic factors and topographic factors in Qilian Mountains have a certain degree of influence on the number of rainstorm days.High altitude areas usually have more rainstorm days,which is related to the rise of air flow and increase of precipitation caused by mountain topography.
